Some of his stories are so scary and hard to imagine living thru, I'm so thankful for all the brave men and women who went through so much for us.

My inlaws went to DC last year to visit the Wall. It was very touching for them. They somehow were filmed by Fox News too (Just for a second but it was still a cool way to remember their trip!).

I've seen fighter jets flying above ONE time since we've been here in TN. When I go home to Fresno I always look for them! :O)

((Hugs Anna & Dawn!))
And Happy Veterans Day to Jeanne too!!!!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09892309873977474591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779456799712759345.post-58038068877405637142008-11-11T14:22:00.000-05:002008-11-11T14:22:00.000-05:00Awesome post! He would tell me stories about the hostile welcome home he received from the protestors. It was sad. When he was alive and we lived near each other, we'd go together to put flowers and flags on the veterans' graves and watch the parades. I miss those days with my dad.

--Anna
Diary of an EccentricAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08046635675540466183noreply@blogger.com
